So I know that normally my posts are substantially longer but I just couldn’t resist posting this. We were out in the yard today playing and my middle daughter RUNS up to me sooo proud of the roly poly that she has so carefully dug up. Naturally, I took a picture… And I absolutely ADORE it!! I’m not 100% sure why I have fallen in love with this photo, but I think it has a lot to do with the following reasons:

1- it’s my daughter, in as real as it gets, form in all her childlike wonder and amazement, wild hair & all
2- it is S U M M E R T I M E – this photo to me IS summer time and all it should be… kids playing and getting dirty and having fun and just being kids
3- I remember doing the exact same thing with my sisters growing up
4- i love her hands, i love how little they are & how precious they are & i love holding her hands

and 5- …it just makes me happy!…

I had the privilege of doing a little shoot for an up and coming event and design company that operates locally and on the west coast. Here is a table setting that they did for the shoot… And I’m pretty sure you’ll agree with me… It’s pretty amazing and I’m glad that they asked me to do the shoot for them, it was a lot of fun! Good things are going to come from Simply Chic Events and Designs and I can’t wait to see them all and hopefully be a part of some of it. Enjoy!!

We’ve had the repeated pleasure of watching Big Snow perform, and it’s never a disappointment. Ryan always puts on an awesome show! And this night was Big Snow Entertainment’s first showcase show and we were privileged to be able to go and get some photos for them. Paige is another one of my fun-loving, sweet and beautiful class of 2011 Senior girls. We had a lot of fun on her shoot, dodging geese and geese poop, running away from bugs, and exploring the Spivey Hall side of Clayton State College & University. Spivey Hall has been an important part of Paige growing up as a vocalist because it’s where she’s performed for years, so naturally, it was a great fit for her senior portrait shoot! I had a lot of fun shooting Paige and getting to know her while doing her photos, she has a great infectious laugh(and you’ll get to see it first hand in some of her photos here). Soo… Without further adue here is a little sneak peek of Paige’s Spivey Hall Senior Photo Shoot! First, I’ll start you out with something a little fun from Paige’s senior photo shoot…Because if your senior photos aren’t fun and they don’t show who you really are, than in my opinion, they aren’t worth your investment. Erin is one of my FABULOUS class of 2011 Seniors! We had a good time on her mini shoot and I can’t wait to do her full length shoot in August. I’m going to go ahead and share a few of my favorite images with you from her mini Senior Portrait photo shoot! And if you’re a class of 2011 Senior, we still have openings for Senior Portrait Shoots but spaces are filling up fast!

Hey guys!!

Sorry for the delay in posting new blogs! We have had a VERY exciting last few days/weeks…which is a good thing. Thank you to everyone who keeps coming and looking/reading my posts…I promise you won’t be disappointed! I have several shoots and weddings to post for you so bare with me. Friday we got to meet…Are you ready?? JORDIN SPARKS!! Yay! My girls were soo excited, and she was soo sweet! We also got to photograph her concert, we were going to grab a few pictures of her before the show but the timing didn’t end up working out with the storms and her schedule, etc.  Saturday we went and photographed a beautiful wedding at Ocean Isle Beach, NC…and a first for me…had two associate photographers shooting a wedding in Gainesville, GA. All in all it’s been a great time and we have some great and exciting things coming to show you! But right now I’m going to go climb up in my very own bed and get some shut eye!

Ya’ll be looking out for a new blog post tomorrow! I’m pretty excited about it!!

Sarah and John had a BEAUTIFUL wedding! It was at an awesome venue, Something Special, in Newnan, GA. If you are getting married and haven’t chosen a location yet, you definitely need to check this one out. The details of their wedding were beautiful and I don’t know that it’s possible to do it justice completely without seeing it for yourself. They are a very beautiful and sweet couple and I counted it an honor to be a part of their special day . Here are a few of the photos from their wedding…I LOVE reading your comments, so don’t be shy…AND…Enjoy!! I know I did!

Meet Caden… He’s a preciously beautiful newborn that I had the privilege of meeting today…and getting some really great photos of,  I’m certain you’ll agree. I went to school with Caden’s parents, so it was an honor when they asked me to come out and do his newborn photos. I posted a sneak peek of his shoot on my facebook photography page/group…BUT…I didn’t include all these images that you get to see here. Caden is a special little boy, much awaited and is much loved. Congrats Jennifer and Chad!! I can’t say enough about you guys and how much you love this little guy and how welcomed he is. Thank you for letting me be a part of your day and your celebration of little Caden. He’s beautiful!!

Mom had a few special requests, and this next picture is one of them, and if you knew/know the story, you know he TRULY is a gift from God
