Hello ladies and gentlemen!

I have had absolutely no internet access for a week now, due to our move into our fabulous new home!! (Of course! I will post pictures soon!) My apologies for the lapse in posting photos… but I promise, this week your regularly scheduled blog posts will resume!!

Mitchel Musso

Mitchel Musso, ‘Oliver’ from ‘Hannah Montana‘, performed at Six Flags Over Georgia today and we had the privilege of tagging along to photograph the event… And got to meet him. Really, really cool! Our (mine & my hubby) daughters LOVED it!! I’ve never seen my 5yr old clam up like that before! (She likes boys….a lot) – Well, we had a blast! It was hot and humid and sticky but the music was great and meeting Mitchel was awesome as well. Here are a few photos, some of my immediate faves, from the concert… Enjoy!! (Thanks Wes for some great photos!!)

Oh! And here’s one of the girls with Mitchel – Notice my older two girls’ cheesy grins…Especially my middle one…LOVE it!

We were at my in-laws for a celebration for my husband and soon to be brother-in-law, Joshua, when my hubby stole away with my camera. My father in law had planted some flowers(I have no idea what kind) at their house and butterflies FLOCK to it… So as you can imagine… That’s where my camera and my husband were. I had the privilege of meeting Derrick & Sophie face to face for the first time, on Sunday, for their engagement shoot(they wanted an “urban” engagement shoot and I LOVED it!). They are getting married in May at the Old Dekalb County Courthouse and I can’t wait!! It’s going to be ah-may-zing!! Sophie has brilliant ideas for their wedding and I just can’t! We met in Atlanta for their engagement shoot, and they had some really great locations picked out for this as well. They are such a fun and sweet couple…and they brought along their “furbaby” Samson, who was soo cute! (Thank you Wes, my assistant for the shoot, for playing dog-sitter!) Check out some of their awesome photos from their shoot! I wish I could post them all… But that would be A LOT!! Enjoy! And as always… Feel free to comment! We love hearing from you!!

my middlest

So I know that normally my posts are substantially longer but I just couldn’t resist posting this. We were out in the yard today playing and my middle daughter RUNS up to me sooo proud of the roly poly that she has so carefully dug up. Naturally, I took a picture… And I absolutely ADORE it!! I’m not 100% sure why I have fallen in love with this photo, but I think it has a lot to do with the following reasons:

1- it’s my daughter, in as real as it gets, form in all her childlike wonder and amazement, wild hair & all
2- it is S U M M E R T I M E – this photo to me IS summer time and all it should be… kids playing and getting dirty and having fun and just being kids
3- I remember doing the exact same thing with my sisters growing up
4- i love her hands, i love how little they are & how precious they are & i love holding her hands

and 5- …it just makes me happy!…

Simply Chic Events & Designs

I had the privilege of doing a little shoot for an up and coming event and design company that operates locally and on the west coast. Here is a table setting that they did for the shoot… And I’m pretty sure you’ll agree with me… It’s pretty amazing and I’m glad that they asked me to do the shoot for them, it was a lot of fun! Good things are going to come from Simply Chic Events and Designs and I can’t wait to see them all and hopefully be a part of some of it. Enjoy!!

Big Snow Entertainment Showcase

We’ve had the repeated pleasure of watching Big Snow perform, and it’s never a disappointment. Ryan always puts on an awesome show! And this night was Big Snow Entertainment’s first showcase show and we were privileged to be able to go and get some photos for them.
