Ashley Brawner Photography:
ABP unofficially began in 2002, shortly after the birth of my oldest daughter. I was working in a studio, mainly for a discount on photos of our beautiful little girl and because it was FUN, when people started requesting me as their photographer and asking me to do shoots for them outside of the studio. Since 2002, we have grown to be much more than just a family and children photography business. Ashley Brawner Photography specializes in creating unique and memorable photos and experiences for whatever season of life you are in. We take pride in personalizing each experience so that you get exactly what you are looking for…and more! We are pleased to offer a wide variety of services that include: weddings, children & families, engagements & bridals, newborns and commercial(artists, events & corporate). And we can’t wait to work with you!!

About your photographer:
I’m Ashley…And here you’ll learn a little about me, personally. I am a proud wife and mother to three fabulous little girls that make my world go ’round. My husband, Wes, shoots as well and is my 2nd shooter for weddings…His preference is shooting live events, abstract, landscapes/scenery and candids(and he ROCKS at it!). Photography is something that I have always enjoyed but never anticipated it being my “full time job”. From a very young age I carried around a little camera and took pictures of virtually everyone and everything I could…And this continued well into college continues even today. I went to college as a vocal music major, fully intending on somehow and somewhere being “discovered” for my vocal talents…A girl can dream, right? But my focus was not on photography.

After becoming a mom, the camera became like an extension of my body and the obsession with photographing things and people became “worse”. I was so satisfied in capturing images of my daughter that captured who she was and what stage in life she was in, that I ended up working part time in a photography studio that we frequented, thus further intensifying my love for photography…And eventually landing me where I am today, as a full time photographer and full time wife and mom. God has truly blessed my family and I, even on the bad days we still have each other, love, a roof over our heads and food on our table…And more importantly a Father that loves us unconditionally.

I consider myself a little bit of a free-spirit. I don’t like to do everything the way that everyone else has always done it and I try to think outside the box. I love to sing and dance, and currently I sing back up for a very talented gospel music singer, Tere’sa Tinsley. Its not abnormal in our home to find us tackling and tickling each other to the ground, out on the lake, at the pool, dancing around the house, playing the music loud, playing in the backyard or just sitting around watching a movie together. My family and I love vacations, especially to the beach. We love concerts. We love Six Flags and DisneyWorld. My family also loves family pizza night, where we all get in the kitchen and make the pizzas ourselves, and anything goes! I love making, baking and decorating cakes for my girls every year for their birthdays and have even done some for others as well. I also, love decorating my home, playing my guitar, sewing and painting or drawing.

Now that you know a little lot more about me(I’m a bit of a talker too)…I’d love the chance to get to know you and/or your family! I absolutely adore when my “clients” become friends…It’s another perk to my job.
