As a little girl I was such a dirty tom boy. At the age of 9/10 I took a shoebox filled with dirt and gathered several roly polies and placed them in my dresser drawer. Much to my mother's dismay should she discover them during a seasonal clean up! Dead in the dark dresser drawer. I felt awful - but my mom knew I only wanted to keep these living creatures. She wasn't mad. But I still think of that moment when I see those little creatures. Ashley, you are such a good mom. I love reading and seeing everything about you and your family.
